About Kir

Kir Moore is a designer and placemaker with extensive leadership experience in retail, restaurant, and hospitality design and construction. She is the founder of To The Outpost, a mobile design collective that helps scaling brands define themselves and stand out in the built environment. Kir is an artist coming from an academic background in psychology (USC) and architecture (Sciarc). She is an organizational strategy expert for brick and mortar development teams, with experience both in-house and as a consultant for numerous standout brands that occupy the built environment, including Sweetgreen, Our Place, Heyday, The Sill, and Anthropologie. She has designed restaurants, gyms, studios, boutiques, hotels, homes and Airbnb stays, show posters and album covers, brandmarks and wallpapers. She also creates community experiences and events that bring people together around design.

Kir’s work is in making the built environment a better place for people to gather, creating spaces that bring people and communities together, and in furthering the mission to make good design accessible and welcoming to everyone.
